Menallen Township is a township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area. The population was 4,500 residents. The Uniontown Area School District serves the region.
The township is named after an older variant spelling of Moyallen, County Down, Ireland.
Waltersburg, Keisterville, Upper Middletown, Searights, Buffington, New Salem, Haddenville, Shamrock, Upper Peanut, Lower Peanut, Dearth, Rocks Works, Newboro, and portions of Smock and Balsinger are located in this township.
