The Menallen Township Office will be closed tomorrow, November 5, 2024 for ELECTION DAY.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY the Menallen Township Supervisors have authorized a burn ban in Menallen Township until further notice based on current fire conditions which are elevated throughout Fayette county and the increase number of calls relating to brush fires in and around Menallen Township. The New Salem Volunteer Fire Department has responded on multiple brush fires in the past several days. You can be cited on site for failure to take notice to this burn ban. Thank you for your cooperation regarding this serious matter and for the safety of our firefighters.
Menallen Township’s Clean up Day is scheduled for October 24 & 25, 2024 the same day as your trash pickup. Just a reminder NO TIRES, NO PROPANE TANKS, TVs, MICROWAVES OR BUILDING MATERIALS.

Menallen Township Trick or Treat will be October 31, 2024 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Please turn your porch light on if you want to participate. Also, if you are traveling on the roads, please watch for children.
